Why Credential?

“EL Education credentialed schools are some of the best schools in the world, period...

…and I have receipts to back it up.”

Christina Brown, EL Education’s Chief Impact Officer, celebrates newly credentialed schools at ELNC23.

Deepen Your Impact

“The EL Education credentialing process allowed our school to reaffirm and realign around the Three Dimensions of Student Achievement. It was a process that provided us with an opportunity to receive feedback that not only celebrated the success of the school and our students, but also an expanded opportunity for conversations that encouraged continuous professional growth, reflection, and students' active participation in their own learning. The credentialing process has refocused our commitment to excellence and our dedication to fostering a conducive learning environment that focuses on real-world learning, character development, and high-quality student work.”

Tell Your Story

“EL Education Credentialed Schools demonstrate that the EL Education model can look very different across a range of geographies and cultures. Each school uses the EL model with integrity and has its own local culture and genius. All of them are places where children thrive academically and personally—where students are getting smart to make a better world. They are the most important evidence of the power of the EL Education Core Practices. Credentialed schools are among the most inspiring schools I have seen anywhere.

The Science Behind the Credential

Research on cognitive development shows that social, emotional, and academic enrichment are reciprocal and intertwined. Schools must foster multiple dimensions of student growth in order to empower excellent equitable outcomes for all kids.

Celebrate Your Community’s Genius

“We really valued the feedback from EL Education experts as [the Credential process] was specific to the 3DSAs and authentic to our growth areas as an EL Education school. Staff and students felt seen, heard, and honored throughout the focus groups, student work presentations, and classroom visits. EL staff 'get us' and have a unique way of celebrating our efforts and nudging us in the right direction. We didn’t want them to leave after the two-day site visit!”
